The Dove Education & Enterprise Academic Institute (DOEEAI) Council serves as the advisory and governance body that provides strategic oversight, policy direction, and professional guidance to support the mission and operations of DOEEAI. The council is composed of industry experts, educators, policymakers, and community leaders dedicated to educational justice, academic innovation, and equitable resource distribution.
✅ Advisory Role to the Chairperson & Executive Administration
✔ Supports executive leadership in shaping policies, funding strategies, and educational programming
✔ Ensures alignment with state and federal education mandates, including ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) and NCLB (No Child Left Behind)
✔ Offers expert guidance on strategic partnerships, expansion, and impact assessment

The application process lasts approximately two (2) months and includes a multi-step vetting procedure, culminating in board endorsement and certification.
✅ Phase 1: Submission of Educational & Professional Credentials
✔ Provide documentation of educational background, including degrees, licenses, and certifications related to education, psychology, social work, vocational training, or a related field.
✔ Submit an updated resume or CV highlighting leadership experience, educational administration roles, and policy advocacy work.
✅ Phase 2: Personal & Professional Verification
✔ Submit personal identification, including full legal name and issued federal ID (passport or driver’s license).
✔ Provide three (3) professional reference letters from industry colleagues, employers, or academic institutions attesting to leadership, expertise, and commitment to educational equity.
✔ Undergo a soft background check for verification of professional and ethical standing.
✅ Phase 3: Interview, Commitment & Council Agreement
✔ Participate in a personal interview with DOEEAI leadership.
✔ Attend a second group interview before current DOEEAI Council members for further evaluation.
✔ Receive Board of Directors endorsement and approval to finalize membership.
✔ Sign a DocuSign Commitment Agreement, acknowledging a one-year term of service on the DOEEAI Council.
✔ Upon acceptance, new members receive an official Certificate of Appointment from the Board of Directors.

1️⃣ Attend Monthly Council Meetings
✔ Active participation in monthly meetings is mandatory.
✔ Members are required to engage in discussions, policy development, and live voting for major council decisions.
2️⃣ Complete One Major Project Per Term
✔ Each member must lead or collaborate on a major initiative that aligns with DOEEAI’s mission, research, or strategic objectives.
3️⃣ Join a Subcommittee for a Project
✔ Members must join at least one subcommittee and contribute to specialized projects, research, or regional outreach efforts.
4️⃣ Participate in Quarterly Events & Lead One Event
✔ Members must attend at least one major quarterly event.
✔ Each member is required to organize, lead, or present at one event during their term.
5️⃣ Mentor One New Council Member
✔ Senior members must mentor incoming council members, providing guidance, leadership support, and transition assistance.
6️⃣ Log Hours Served
✔ Members must track and document hours contributed to DOEEAI initiatives, ensuring accountability and reporting on service impact.
7️⃣ Lead One Workshop Annually & Present Findings to the Board
✔ Each member must design, plan, and execute a specialized workshop that contributes to education policy, intervention strategies, or regional research.
✔ The workshop must include a formal presentation to the Board of Directors detailing findings and proposed solutions.
8️⃣ Executive Team Regional Expansion & MOU Development
✔ Executive Team Members are required to secure at least one regional Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a new Dove Network member (school, institution, or organization).
✔ This initiative expands DOEEAI’s reach and strengthens partnerships with key stakeholders.
9️⃣ Serve as Regional Advocate & Advisory Support
✔ Members must assist regional managers in local outreach, resource development, and operational support.
✔ Provide quarterly advisory reports to the Board regarding growth, needs, and challenges in designated regions.

As a member of the DOEEAI Council, your role is vital in shaping the direction and success of our mission. This document outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and compliance requirements to ensure that each member actively contributes to DOEEAI’s growth and impact. Council members must maintain professionalism, participate in all required activities, and uphold the standards set forth by DOEEAI.
All council members must submit an annual service report summarizing their participation, completed projects, committee involvement, and leadership contributions. This report is crucial in evaluating each member’s impact and maintaining accountability within the council.
Members in good standing who fulfill their responsibilities will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of their term. This certificate formally recognizes their service and leadership. Additionally, active members may be considered for higher leadership roles within DOEEAI, such as committee chairs, executive leadership, or policy advisory positions.
Council members are expected to attend all scheduled meetings, participate in live voting, and actively engage in discussions. Consistent attendance is required to maintain good standing. Missing more than two consecutive meetings without prior notice may result in a review of membership status.
All members must uphold the highest ethical standards. Professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Any form of misconduct, discrimination, or breach of confidentiality may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the council.
Council members must adhere to all DOEEAI policies and guidelines, including those related to equity, non-discrimination, conflict of interest, and professional conduct. All policies must be followed to ensure the effective governance of the council.
